We want to give you a chance to share what you thought about Sunday's message. We want to know how God spoke to you. What made you think? What made you laugh? What changed your perspective?
To do this the staff of Open Door will be posting quotes from Pastor Greg to help stir up conversation. Some of these quotes will be serious, some funny, some that just make you think. If you missed the message, check it out here.
So enjoy the first ever....
Pastor Greg Epicness!
.....and, yes, we know that "epicness" is not a word.
- "If you follow Jesus you'll have the most fun possible."
- "When you and I operate under the mindset of man we will never...end up at the right place. You and I need something more than the influence of man."
- "I don't know about you, but i don't intend to run in circles any more."
- "Do you realize that there is good in people that I don't even agree with?"
- "When I know I'm off of God's path, when I'm close enough to it that i can see it, then it's not too hard for me to say, 'uh huh, you're right Lord,' and step back into the path, but the farther I go away from God and the farther I go in my own direction, it gets harder and harder to see where I'm at."
- "If you end up any place He's not, you're lost."
- "How many of you know that there is any number of things that are good in moderation? The problem comes when we become consumed by them."
- "The devil even knows that Jesus is the Christ."

I want to thank ODM for giving us the opportunity to share our throughts and testimonies on this blog. I am not a computer person, but I am loving this, I read each testimony and what a blessing. I was not feeling well the other day and after reading this blog I forgot all about how I felt, I was completely healed. The message Pastor preached Sun (9-7) was sooooooooooooo good I know when I start yielding to the flesh or listening to negative words I forget what papa God has done for me. I need to get back in the way. The way of JESUS and then I can stand against the DEVIL!! Halleluyah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The comment: "What can be, won't be, if you don't turn loose of what could have been" spoke louder to me than any of the other message because it helped me realize that I had to let go of my past in order to go forward in where God was taking me.
Alot of times, people tend to live in their past and judge their future by their past mistakes and this comment helped me realize that I cannot go forward unless I let go of my past.
Amazing message and helped confirmed the next season God is taking me into.
